World Hypertension Congress 2009 being held in Beijing, China on October 29 - November 1, 2009.


In an endeavor to address this question, this 4-day conference will focus on an important area, Hypertension Management—From Bench to Bedside and Community, and will provide an opportunity to look back with pride on the advances achieved in hypertension and cardiovascular disease management, and more importantly, to look ahead to the great challenges we are facing right now and those we will be facing in the future. How do we apply what we know now and bring it from the research bench to the bedside and the community?

Beijing was the capital city of the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties of China. The largest imperial palace in the world, the Forbidden City, is located on the central axis of Beijing city. Together with the Summer Palace - a royal park, the Great Wall, Beijing Royal Quadrangle Courtyard, Beijing has 7,300 cultural relics and historical sites, as well as more than 200 scenic spots.
